The only consistently white flowered subspecies, often a distinctive creamy white, the many orange style branches are a conspicuous feature. These features combined with the netted tunic common to all subspecies of Crocus cancellatus make this one of the easier subspecies to identify.


Corm tunic – compare with subspecies damascenus which has much less finely netted tunics.
